Here it is, the last MAAN Wines release, and what a wine to finish on! This '22 Shiraz from one of McLaren Vale's best vineyards was originally intended to be our flagship wine, so the premium fruit was processed lovingly. After hand plunging in small format open fermenters, and then basket pressed to obtain smooth and silky tannins, it was then left to age in a combination of New/2nd use French and American oak (65% French/35% US) for 15 months. Then as we were approaching bottling time it all got a bit hard with new families and living in different states, so we decided to flog this amazing wine off as a cleanskin... so get in quick because it'll go goddamn quick!!

In short, yes. We use a tinsy bit so that we can ensure quality and enable your wine to age well, rather than spoil within a short timeframe like some 'natural' wines.

Are your wines organic?

We source our grapes from a number of different growers and some of them are certified organic, and some aren't.

How much does shipping cost?

Depends how much you're ordering and where you're shipping to. Generally speaking, the closer you are to Melbourne or Adelaide, the cheaper it will be. All shipping prices are calculated at the checkout, but order 12 or more bottles and receive free shipping.
