Flirty MAAN Fiano 19
Flirty MAAN Fiano embodies all the virtues that make us smile knowingly when we hear the term 'flirty'; fresh, playful, cheeky, and even a little bit too easy. A bright, crisp, fruit-driven style with subtle complexity and texture, encapsulated within a deceptively smash-able vino. Go nuts.
Visually: Brilliant straw colour with a golden hue.
Nose: Flinty, touches of citrus (lime, lemon), nectarine, apricot and pineapple syrup. Also some complexing characters like lanolin, and thyme flower
Palate: A tight and bright acidity keeps this wine fresh and vital. A slight bit of texture from skin contact and batonage, matches nicely to the acidity, giving it a lovely structure. Stonefruit and citrus flavours carry through on the palate.
Production: This is a wine that although drinking beautifully whilst youthful, will definitely reward cellaring. The zippy natural acidity, paired with the phenolics from this naturally textural variety will soften and fill out the palate, creating a rich , plush wine with loads of stone fruits and juicy tropical notes.
Cellaring potential: Don't. Drink it now
